The Diocesan Office of Faith Formation in collaboration with the leaders of
this fall's Alpha Program will be hosting a series of videos as an adult faith
formation program for Lent. The series entitled Catholicism has been
produced by Father Robert Barron and has recently aired on Public
Television in many areas.
Location: Marshall Center located on Elliot Street behind St. Michael's Cathedral
Time: Thursday evenings during Lent from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Date: February 23rd and running every Thursday until March 29 [Feb. 23, Mar. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29].
This Lent we will break open 3 of the 10 videos:
Happy Are We: the Teachings of Jesus
Union of Christ and the Church
The Mystery of the Liturgy and the Eucharist
The program will be facilitated by Sr. Paula Robillard, Director of Faith Formation for the Diocese of Springfield, and will include prayer, a 30 minute viewing of the video, group discussion or quiet reflection (participant's choice) and light refreshments.
There is no charge. A free will donation will be gladly accepted.
